حضرت ابن سیرین رحمۃ اللہ تعالٰی علیہ نے فرمایا ہے کہ خواب میں مگر مچھ ظالم، چور اور لڑاکا شخص ہے۔ اور اگر کوئی خواب میں دیکھے کہ مگرمچھ اس کو پانی میں لے گیا اور وہ ڈوب گیا ہے
تو دلیل ہے کہ وہ شخص پانی میں ہلاک ہو گا۔ اور اگر دیکھے کہ مگرمچھ نے اس کو کاٹا ہے۔تو یہ دلیل ہے کہ صاحب خواب کو اسی قدر دشمن سے تکلیف اور زحمت حاصل ہو گی
حضرت ابراہیم کرمانی رحمۃ اللہ تعالٰی علیہ نے فرمایا ہے۔ اگر دیکھے کہ اس کو مگرمچھ پانی میں لے گیا ہے۔ دلیل یہ ہے کہ اس کو مچھلیاں ہلاک کر دیں گی۔ اور اگر دیکھے کہ مگر مچھ اس پر غالب آ گیا ہے تو اس کی تاویل اول کے خلاف ہے۔
اور اگر یہ دیکھے کہ اس کے پاس مگرمچھ کا گوشت یا ہڈی یا چمڑا ہے۔ تو یہ دلیل ہے کہ صاحب خواب دشمن سے نقصان پائے گا۔
حضرت جابر مغربی رحمۃ اللہ تعالٰی علیہ نے فرمایا ہے۔ اگر دیکھے کہ مگرمچھ اس شخص کو پانی میں لے گیا ہے۔ تو دلیل ہے کہ دشمن کے ہاتھ سے شہید ہو گا
